Jackson Star Custom
This guitar was ordered at the same time as RR0849, and was delivered to Chris in 1984. This was his fourth custom Jackson and was obviously inspired by his love for motorcycles. Once again Chris had an idea for a very striking and memorable graphic, and the yellow binding is a very rare feature. A fun fact about this guitar is that the serial number was stamped with an RR prefix instead of J - A human error that we occasionally see with Jacksons to this day.





This guitar starred in the promo videos for 'Wild Child', 'Blind In Texas' and 'The Manimal' and was used a lot during the Last Command and Electric Circus tours. It's currently owned by a Jackson/Charvel collector from US. The back of the neck reads "Ride Hard, Die Fast".





This star has the larger body style that's often seen with Kahler equipped Stars. It basically has more wood behind the bridge making it a little bit bigger than the original Charvel Star shape. Not many people are even aware of this variation even though it changes the look of the guitar considerably, especially in person.
