When I saw the amazing artwork of Michele Fusco on her website www.waspevermore.com (sadly not online anymore) I decided to ask her if she would be into painting Chris Holmes playing RR0849. She liked the idea and we started planning the concept. I wanted something that would remind me of the video for 'Forever Free' where Chris plays a solo under heavy rain. The model for Chris' pose was taken from the Forever Free 12" poster sleeve single.

![]() The photos above show various stages of the painting process. Michele sent me these so I could give her directions if something wasn't the way I liked. But she is a great artist and always exceeded my expectations by far. Below is a picture of the completed artwork by Michele Fusco. The real life size is 11" x 14". Michele said the main soundtrack for the painting process was the song "Inside The Electric Circus". ![]() Some techinal information from the artist herself: "I have decided to do your painting on heavy artboard, which has a smooth surface, and will allow me to add tight detail to the painting with colored pencils on top of the paint, this is the most effective way to get REALLY tight detail. Let me know. I have added metallic and pearlescent paint into the works for the inlays and frets, so the guitar actually responds to light, it works good, but only in person." Thanks once again Michele!!!
