Jackson Rhoads Custom

This famous Rhoads was custom built for Chris Holmes in 1984 - the serial number is RR0849. I am the lucky owner of this guitar having purchasing it from Chris in early 2003. I have put all the info I have on RR0849 here for you to check out. I had to split this page into several sections, and you can find the links at the bottom.

The guitar is in cool "relic" condition with many scratches and dings to the body. Those are all battlescars that just add to the charisma of the instrument. It has seen all the big venues while touring around the world with one of the biggest and most outrageous bands of our time. There is a crack between the knob and the bridge which occured during the 1989 Headless Tour at the Philadelphia Spectrum Center when some fucker jumped onstage and bit Chris on the ear. Chris ran after the guy, caught him backstage and hit him with the guitar. The neck and headstock are in great condition and the guitar plays like a dream.
